Installation on my 2006 Subaru Forester was so frickin' easy. After investing a few minutes studying the instructions and inspecting the parts, it took me less than 20 minutes to adjust the factory roof racks and install the cargo box. This box will be extemely simple to take off and put on, with no special tooks needed. I'm really impressed with the quality of the unit and it's hardware. It's not often that I am so smitten with a product.
(Instructions are well-written by a person who obviously speaks and understands English.) The fact that it is Made in the USA is an added bonus.

Caro carrier was delivered promptly and in great shape. I loved that the shipping was free as opposed to Sears who wanted to charge me $90. Carrier was easy to set up (15 minutes) and worked great our entire trip. I barely noticed any additional noise/whistle or reduction in gas mileage mentioned by others. Great product and highly recommended.

We bought this box to mount on our Thule racks on a Prius, for a long family vacation. The box is big enough to hold a large suitcase and a baby's car seat, which was great for our trip.
Two complaints, one major and one minor:
The minor complaint: the interior strap system is awkward, and there were no
directions for how to fasten the straps, so I was left wondering if I had done it correctly. The box and cargo arrived intact, so I guess I did...
The major complaint: the holes in the bottom were not in the right place! The Thule racks on the Prius are supposed to be a specific distance apart. The cargo box directions indicate that this is the appropriate distance for one pair of holes. However, after much cursing trying to get the box to sit right on the racks, I finally measured the holes and found that the minimum center-to-center distance was 1/2" too big, which meant the racks had to be further separated by 1/2" to fit the box, which was against BOTH sets of directions.
